Jaelani Tiffanysky McCrea, 2, of Watertown, New York, passed away tragically on June 10, 2026, at Samaritan Medical Center.

She was born on August 18, 2023, in Watertown, New York, the beloved daughter of Sana D. Everest.

Jaelani was a happy, energetic little girl who brought joy to everyone around her. She loved being outdoors, especially visiting the park, and could often be found smiling while watching her favorite cartoon, Cocomelon. Jaelani shared a special bond with her best friend and brother, Treyveon, who had recently taught her how to say “six-seven.” Her bright spirit, laughter, and loving nature will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Jaelani is survived by her mother, Sana D. Everest; her brother, Treyveon Watkins; her maternal grandmother, Maria Sgroi of Pennsylvania; her aunt, Sabra Everest of Boonville; her uncle, James Everest of Carthage; her cousins, Shyann, Jesse, and Paul; and her beloved dog, Karma.

Arrangements are entrusted to Hart & Bruce Funeral Home. Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
