Obituary

James F. Loomis 66, of Morrison St. Watertown died Thursday morning at the Samaritan medical Center. Calling hours will be Sunday, September 19th from 2-4 and 7-9 at the Johnson Funeral Home, Dexter . The funeral will be at 11 A.M. Monday, September 20th, at the funeral Home with Pastor Barry Proctor officiating. Burial will be in Dexter Cemetery. James was born on January 11, 1944 in Antwerp the son of Fred and Charlotte Robbins Loomis. He attended school in Dexter. After leaving School he worked on several farms .He went to work for the New York Airbrake, where he worked as a machinest. He retired in 1979. He married Patricia Clemons House on May 11, 1963 in Dexter. The marriage ended in divorce. He is survived by his companion, Linda Perrigo , Watertown 2 sons- James ( Christine) Loomis, Watertown Kevin ( Jane ) Loomis, Philadelphia N.Y. 3 daughters-Tina Davenport ( twin of Kevin) Fort Drum Mrs. Kirk ( Charlotte ) Bush , Watertown Mrs. Paul ( Amber ) German, Fort Drum 4 Brothers - Louis, Felts Mills Claude, Auburn Clifford, Chaumont Vernon, Three Mile Bay 1 Sister- Mary Alice Snyder, Black River 11 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews He is predeceased by one sister Marjorie Towsley and one brother -in-law Robert House Sr. He also raised 3 brother-in-laws after the death of their parents.
