James F. Lester, age 53 of Floral Drive, Watertown passed away Saturday afternoon at University Hospital, Syracuse. He had been suffering from heart disease. James was born October 24, 1953 in S, N.Y. the son of Fred and Edith White Lester. He graduated from Skaneateles Falls High School. He married Pamela Boulton on March 13, 1994 at St. Elizabeth Seton Church in Dexter. He was a security guard at Dept. of Social Services for Jefferson County until his death. He was a member of Sacred Heart Church of Watertown and enjoyed road trips with his wife, traveling wherever it took them. He is survived by his wife Pamela and three sisters; Lee and Kay Stoudenmyre of Syracuse, Mike and June Rarick of Watertown and Sandra Latz of Baldwinsville. He also has several nieces and nephews surviving. A funeral mass will be held Tuesday 11:00 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Church, Brownville with Fr. Kevin O'Brien, pastor officiating. Burial will be in Dexter Cemetery. Calling hours will be from 7-9 P.M. Monday at the Johnson Funeral Home, Dexter. Donations may be made to American Heart Association.
