James A. Robinson, 87, of Defuniak Springs, FL and formerly of Watertown, NY passed May 29, 2015 at the Healthmark Regional Medical Center in Florida.

A memorial service will be held 11 a.m. June 12th at the St. Margaret of Scotland Catholic Church in Defuniak Springs, FL.

A graveside service with military honors will be held 11 a.m. Monday, June 22nd at Glenwood Cemetery with Rev. Steve Murray, Pastor of Holy Family Church officiating.

Arrangements are with the Hart & Bruce Funeral Home, Watertown.

Mr. Robinson was born on October 2, 1927 in Watertown, NY, the son of Viola Desormo.

He entered the US Army on October 10, 1952 and served in Korea.  He was honorably discharged on August 6, 1954 and received the Korean Service Medal with a Bronze Star, a Presidential Unit Citation, United Nations Service Medal and National Defense Service Medal.

Upon his return he married Janice P. Holden on June 20, 1960 at the Sacred Heart Church.  The couple resided in Watertown.  Mrs. Robinson died November 29, 1992.

Mr. Robinson worked at Whispering Pines Adult Home and Holy Family Church in Watertown for several years as a maintenance man.

He was a member of the Knights of Columbus in Defuniak Springs, FL.

He is survived by a brother, Joseph Queior, Sarasota, FL and good friend, James Fraser and his wife Margaret of Watertown.
