Jeannine D. Browne, 74 of Watertown, passed away Saturday at the Samaritan Medical Center, where she had been a patient for the past week. She was born June 26, 1936 in Massena, NY. She was the daughter of Earl and Dorothy Thiebert Brown She attended school in Fort Covington, NY and at the Sisters of St. Josephs, Watertown. She was a nun for 16 years. She was a teacher at Holy Family School, and Salmon River Central School, after 34 years of teaching she retired in 1991. She's lived in the Watertown area for the past 15 years. She was a member of NYSUT, Christian Life Center, and TILEAH. She is survived by her adopted family, the Munsons. Jane, Pillar Point, Susan, Jessica, Whitney, Emilie, Scott, Chris, and Atticus, Zoel and Nicadimus, Watertown Steve, Sherri and Patrick, Watertown Scott, Bonnie, Ashley, Sean, and Brittany, Liverpool David and Taedra , Liverpool Tara, Michelle, Kyra Schnoor, Watertown Grant Schnoor, Iowa Several Cousins She was predeceased by Reginald and Sandra Munson. Calling hours will be from 12- 2 at the Johnson Funeral Home, Dexter, on Saturday November 6, 2010 Funeral service will follow calling hours, with the Rev. Jim Hayes of Christian Life Center, Chaumont. Burial will be in the Dexter Cemetery at the family's convenience
