Jeffry A. Dorr, age 45 of Dexter died Friday in an accident at his autobody shop; when a car jack slipped and the vehicle fell on him. Jeffry was born November 20, 1963 in Watertown, the son of John and Marion Price Dorr. Jeffry graduated from General Brown Central School in 1981. Jeffry worked for his father in Dorr's Body Shop and took over on his father's retirement. He was a member of Brownville Fish and Game Club, Smith-Savage Post Sons of American Legion in Dexter and th N.R.A. Jeffry is survived by his parents John and Marion Dorr of Dexter, two sisters Karen and Michael Christie of Watertown and Judy Pratt of Pulaski. He also has a niece and nephew. A graveside service will be held Thursday 10:00 a.m. at the Brownville Cemetery with Fr. Kevin O'Brien, pastor of Immaculate Conception Church officiating. There are no calling hours. Arrangements are with Johnson Funeral Home, Dexter. Donations may be made to Hospice of Jefferson County.
