Joanne M. Pickett, age 69 of Limerick passed away at her home Thursday evening. Joanne was born July 20, 1942 in Watertown the daughter of Leonard and Evelyn Ayerst Weston. She attended schools in the Watertown area. She married James H. Pickett in 1970 and the couple have resided in Limerick ever since. She worked at Northland Electric, Ames Dept. Store and retired from Kinney Drug Store in Watertown. She is survived by her husband James, two sons James Pickett and William Pickett of Brownville. She has seven grandchildren, a sister Dorothy Fassett of Watertown and nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by sons Michael and Steven Pickett and a brother Leo Weston. A graveside service will be held Friday August 12th at 11:00 a.m. at the Brownville Cemetery with Fr. Douglas Comstock of Alexandria Bay officiating. Arrangements are with the Johnson Funeral Home, Dexter.
