Joyce E. Carpenter, 81 of Perch Lake Road, Watertown, passed away Monday evening at Samaritan Medical Center ER. Joyce was born December 30, 1936 in Clayton, the daughter of Henry and Madelyn Jackson. She graduated from Clayton High School. Joyce married Edward Carpenter Jr. in 1953. She was a homemaker. She is survived by her husband Edward and four children: Desiree' Carpenter of Wisconsin, John Carpenter of LaFargeville, Cassandra Smith of Pamelia and Russell Carpenter of Dexter. She has eight grandchildren, a brother Allen Jackson and Susan Jackson. A private burial will be held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are with Johnson Funeral Home, Dexter.
