Juanita M. Griffin, age 67 of 300 Rice St. Brownville passed away Sunday morning at her home under the care of Hospice and her family. Juanita was born May 12, 1945 in Alexandria Bay, the daughter of Harry and Arretta V. Tibbles Savage. She attended school in Lafargeville and Indian River. She married Leonard E. Griffin Jr. in 1971 in Gouverneur where she was Head of Housekeeping at E.J. Noble Hospital for several years. Lawrence passed away in 2007. She is survived by daughters:- Brenda Griffin of Walkill, N.Y., Linda Hilts of Minoa, N.Y., Michelle LeJune of Philadelphia, N.Y., Laura Crawley of LaFargeville,Gina Griffin of Evans Mills, Kathy Worthern of Evans Mills, Micky Fulton of Rock Cave, W.VA and a stepson Scott Service of Florida. A celebration of life will be held Saturday November 3rd at 1:00 P.M. at 300 Rice St. Bldg c. Community Room.
