Judith A. Pecori, 72, of Watertown, New York, passed away on June 21, 2026, at Samaritan Medical Center.

Born on October 2, 1953, in Watertown, New York, Judith was the daughter of Harold Burton Carpenter and Betty Jane (Waterman) Carpenter. She graduated from Hounsfield Central School in Sackets Harbor with the Class of 1971.

On June 24, 1972, Judith married the love of her life, Stephen P. Pecori, at St. Andrew’s Catholic Church. Together, they shared nearly 54 years of marriage and built a loving family.

Judith began her working career at Kinny Drugs in Northland Plaza, where she served as a merchandise manager. After starting a family, she devoted herself to raising her children and caring for her home. In 1994, she returned to school at Jefferson Community College, earning an Associate’s Degree in Accounting. She later worked at Iron Block Harley-Davidson, followed by several years at Waite Toyota, retiring in 2015.

Judith found great joy in gardening and tending to her flowers. She also enjoyed crafting and cherished the time spent with family and friends. Her greatest happiness came from attending her grandchildren’s school activities and sporting events.

In addition to her parents, Judith was predeceased by her brother, Thomas Carpenter.

Among her survivors are her beloved husband, Stephen P. Pecori, Sr. of Watertown; her five children and their spouses, Shannon and Marcus Browne of Milford, Massachusetts, Stephen “Paco” and Andrea Pecori, Jr. of Angola, New York, Jonathan Pecori and his companion, Jonelle Goldman, of Delhi, New York, Jason and Jamie Pecori of Newark, New York, and Justin and Aimee Pecori of Watertown, New York; nine grandchildren, Chelsea, Zachary, Caprina, Stephen, Dominic, Giavanna, Lily, Rowan, and Ryenn; six siblings and their spouses, Jim and Dale Carpenter of Florida, Sue and Ken Bennett of Three Mile Bay, Connie and Billy McDonald of Syracuse, Mary and Steve Ritz of Harrisville, NY, Tina and Jon Schell of Lowville, NY, and Ray Carpenter of Watertown, NY; along with several nieces and nephews.

Arrangements are with Hart & Bruce Funeral Home, Watertown. In keeping with Judith’s wishes, cremation will take place. A celebration of her life will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family.
