Judy A. Baldwin, age 69 of County Rt 53, passed away Sunday evening at Samaritan Medical Center after a long battle with illness. Judy was born August 3, 1940 in Three Mile Bay, she was raised by Millie and Riley Shepard in the Honeyville area. She graduated from Adams Center High School in 1957. Judy married Dennis Gehring in 1959 which ended in divorce. She then married David Baldwin on August of 1976 in Keokuk, Iowa. David passed away September 23, 2007. Judy worked as a secretary for St. Johnsbury Trucking in Watertown until she was forced to retire due to health issues. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Kristine and Michael Cushman of Watertown, a son Mark Gehring and his companion Valerie Dempsey of Calcium; stepchildren Johnny and Marie Owens and Jeff and Jamie Owens of Texas; grandchildren Kyle Cushman of Ogdensburg, Gabrelle Gehring-Sanders and her husband Joe Sanders, and Zachary Cushman of Watertown and great grandchildren Xander Gehring and Willow Sanders and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother Duane MacDonald and two sisters Jane Palmer and Ruth Gallup. Funeral services will be Friday 11:00 a.m. at the Johnson Funeral Home, Dexter with Pastor Jay Cox of Relevant Church of God of Watertown officiating. She will be cremated. Calling hours will be Thursday from 5-8 P.M. Donations are requested to American Cancer Society.
