Obituary

Judy D. Dangerfield, 70, formerly of Felts Mills, passed May 9, 2014 at the Samaritan Keep Nursing Home where she had been a resident.

She was born on October 3, 1943 in Niagara Falls, NY. She attended school in Alex Bay.

She married Michael M. Dangerfield Jr. on June 12, 1970 at the Felts Mills Justice of the Peace.

Judy worked at Freeman Bus Corp. in Watertown as a bus driver for fifteen years, retiring in 1996.

She was a former volunteer for the Black River Ambulance Squad. She enjoyed her cats, arts and crafts and spending time with her family.

Her husband drove bus for Indian River Central School, he passed on June 11, 1996.

Among her survivors are three sons and a daughter in law; Michael M. and (Amy) Dangerfield III, Clayton, Corey M. Dangerfield, Watertown, Lyle I. Plantz, CO; two daughters, Melanie L. Dangerfield and Melissa A. Dangerfield both of Evans Mills; a brother, Wesley Bullard, GA; two sisters and a brother in law, Darlene and Jim Gushlaw, Lorraine, Stacey Plantz, Southern Tier, NY; 5 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and her loving cat, Sid.

Besides her husband and parents, a daughter Donna Pacific predeceased her.

Arrangements are with the Bruce Funeral Home, Black River.

A graveside service will be 10 a.m. Thurs., May 15 at the Felts Mills Cemetery.
