June C. Hare, age 85 formerly of the Bonney Road, Watertown; passed away Monday evening at Samaritan Keep Home. June was born June 7, 1929 in Watertown, the daughter of Leo and Amelia Dawson Lalonde. She graduated from Immaculate Heart Academy and married Delbert M. Hare on October 29, 1949 at Sacred Heart Rectory, Watertown. The couple lived in Dexter and later moved to the Bonney Road. She worked on the assembly line at Northland Electric in Watertown. She was a member of Brownville Fire Auxiliary. She is survived by a son Robert Hare of Dexter, daughters: Doris DelCampo of Glen Park and Mary Davison of Watertown. She has nine grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren. Also are brothers: Earl Lalonde of Macedon, N.Y., Leo Lalonde Jr. of Carthage, Steven Lalonde address unknown and sisters: Evelyn Laton of Summerville, S.C., Ruth LaFoe of Leesville, LA., Alice Labouf of Homer, NY. She was predeceased by her husband in 1981, a son Earl Hare in 1995, and a sister Leona Primmer. Funeral services will be Friday September 12th at the Johnson Funeral Home, Dexter at 2:00 P.M. with Rev. Toby Schilling officiating. Burial will be in Brownville Cemetery.
