Junior T. Eveleigh, age 91 of High St. Watertown, passed away Monday afternoon at Samaritan Keep Home where he had been a patient for almost a year. Junior was born July 8, 1923 in Watertown the son of Bernard and Nellie Eveleigh. He attended schools in Cape Vincent . He married Helen M. Premo in 1957 in Brownville. Junior was a farmworker for several farms including Aubrey Farms in Cape Vincent. He is survived by two children: Mary and Roy Derouin of LaFargeville and Fred Eveleigh and his companion Vivian Stafford. A grandson Roy Derouin Jr. and a brother Robert Eveleigh of Cape Vincent and numerous nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral service will be Friday 11:00 a.m. at the Johnson Funeral Home, Dexter with Rev. Robert Slye officiating. Burial will be in Brownville Cemetery. Calling hours will be 1 hour prior to the funeral.
