Kay E. Goldthwait, 67, of 30076 NYS Rt. 3, Black River passed November 11, 2013 at her home.

Calling hours will be 5-7 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 14 at the Bruce Funeral Home, Black River.

Burial will take place at the convenience of the family.

She was born on April 26, 1946 in Syracuse, NY, daughter of Francis Goldthwait and Esther Hudson.

Kay graduated from Syracuse University with a Master''s Degree in Social Work. She went on to work for the Credo Community Center in Watertown for several years as a social worker. She later owned and operated her own business, K.B. Counseling Services in Watertown for eleven years.

Among her survivors are three daughters and a son in law, Kristin L. Burroughs and her fiance, Leslie R. Williams, Black River, Lani J. Arens, Oswego, Jaime K. and Robert A. Gates, Croghan; six grandchildren and her loving dog Sweetie Pie.
