Kimberly A. Aucter, 47, of 29777 NYS Rt. 3, Black River, passed November 7, 2015 at her home where she was under the care of her family and Hospice of Jefferson County.

A graveside service will be 11 a.m. Saturday, November 14th at St. Stephen's Catholic Cemetery, in Croghan, with Father Daniel Chapin officiating.

Born on July 19, 1968 in Watertown, NY, daughter of Ronald E. and Ruth J. (Patterson) Aucter, she graduated from Carthage Central High School in 1986.  She then graduated from Jefferson Community College in 2002 and in 2006 she received her Bachelor's Degree in Sociology from SUNY Potsdam.  She was currently attending Syracuse University where she was working on her Master's Degree in Social Work.

While attending school she worked at Dress Barn in the Salmon Run Mall where she was an Assistant Manager.

Kimberly also enjoyed collecting toys, talking politics, and spending time with family and friends.

Among her survivors are her loving mother, Ruth J. Aucter, Black River; her best friend for thirty years, Dawn Ferguson, Carthage; several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Her father, Ronald Aucter and stepfather, Roy Mosher both passed before her.
