Korlene F. Carpenter, 95 of 932 Summer St., Watertown, NY, died Saturday in the Samaritan Medical Center, Watertown, NY. Born in Chaumont, NY on November 1, 1911, she was the daughter of l Charles and Florence Gonseth. She graduated from Dexter High School and grew up on a farm in Limerick. She married Desmond B. Carpenter Thanksgiving Day 1947 at the First Presbyterian Church in Watertown. Mr. Desmond died May 20, 1978. She was a Assembly Line Worker, employed by Faichney's making Thermometers. The couple had lived in Watertown, moved to Brownville and returned to Watertown. The couple had no children and she has no living relatives. A graveside service is tentatively scheduled for 1:00 P.M. Friday at Dexter Cemetery. There are no calling hours. Arrangements are with Johnson Funeral Home, Dexter.
