Leo Adrian Lawler, age 78 of Rte3 Carthage passed away December 26, 2014 at St. Elizabeth Hospital, Utica. Leo was born January 14, 1936 in Philadelphia, N.Y> the son of Leo and Monica Mohan Lawler. He attended school in Philadelphia. He served in the Navy from 1954-1957. Leo worked as an electrician and boiler mechanic at St. Regis and later Champion International Paper Co. in Deferiet. He also made the boilers for the Sackets Harbor Brewery. He is survived by three children: Michele and Alonzo Carlton of Cape Vincent, Ed and MaryAnne Lawler of Groves, Texas and Sharon Lobdell of Buffalo, Iowa. He hs four grandchildren and one great grandchild, several nieces and nephews and a brother Lewis Lawler of Estero, Florida. He was predeceased by five brothers and three sisters. There will be a mass scheduled at the convenience of the family. Following cremation he will be intered at St. Mary's Cemetery, Evans Mills. There are no calling hours.
