Leona M. Robbins, age 92 of Game Farm Rd., Dexter passed away Friday evening at her home under the care of her family and Hospice of Jefferson County. Leona was born October 19, 1920 in Philadelphia, N.Y. the daughter of Wallace and Frances Myers Fleming. She attended school in Antwerp and graduated from Dexter High School. She married Lawrence J. Robbins on November 11, 1938 in Sackets Harbor. The couple owned and operated a farm on Massey St. Road until 1946 when they moved to their present farm in Dexter. Lawrence passed away October 14, 1996. She enjoyed bingo, family events, Dexter HamJam, Lafargeville Blue Grass Nights. She is survived by the following children: Marilyn and Dennis Regan of Avon, N.Y., Marlene Dunaway of Dexter, Maureen Brimmer of Dexter, James and Beverly Robbins of Dexter, Janet and Donald Wager of Tuscarora, N.Y., Gerry Robbins of Dexter, Terry Robbins of Dexter, Rosemary Robbins of Watertown. She has 24 grandchildren, 46 reat grandchildren and 7 great great grandchildren, a brother Donald and Dawn Fleming of Port Orange, Florida, a sister Marjorie Augustine of Watertown and nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be Tuesday December 18th at 11:00 a.m. at the Johnson Funeral Home, Dexter with Rev. Patricia Walz of Dexter United Methodist Church officiating. Burial will be in Dexter Cemetery. Calling hours will be from 2-4 and 7-9 on Monday. Donations may be made to Dexter Fire Dept.
