WATERTOWN, N.Y. — Lillian C. Ring, 93, of Military Road, went home to Glory on Saturday, Oct. 5, at Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson, North Carolina while visiting her daughter's family. Born April 24, 1920, in Seaverton, N.Y., the daughter of Roger A. Carley and Ella M. Roberts, she graduated in 1938 from Adams Center High School. She married Donald G. Ring (1920-2005) of Watertown on April 24, 1943. The couple operated a dairy farm in the town of Pamelia from 1945 to 1979, until retiring. Mrs. Ring was a charter member of Fellowship Baptist Church and very active in both church and community activities such as 4-H and Home Bureau over the years. Surviving her are a son and his wife, Donald G. Ring Jr. and Bonnie, Watertown; a daughter and her husband, Marilyn and Daniel Geiger, North Carolina; five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Burial will take place in Honeyville Cemetery at the convenience of the family. A memorial service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 19, at Fellowship Baptist Church at 20886 State Route 3, Watertown.
