Lynda J. Turner, 71 of Dexter, passed away July 7th at 8:00 a.m. at her home suroounded by her family and Hospice of Jefferson County. Lynda was born May 11, 1944 in Watertown, the daughter of William and Eleanor June Goodfriend Bourcy. She graduated from General Brown Central High School. She married David L. Turner in July of 1999. A previous marriage ended in divorce. She worked as a clerk at Nichols Department Store and later at Kelley Woodworking in Watertown. She is survived by her husband David, a son Donald Payne, a sister Donna and Gary Baxter of Brownville, brothers: Rick and Barbara Bourcy of Dexter, Frank Bourcy of Dexter and Louis Bourcy of Florida, sister-in-law Laurie Bourcy of Dexter, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a son Danny Payne and a brother Roger Bourcy. There will be no calling hours or services. Arrangements are entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home, Dexter.
