Lynn A. Sanford, age 59 of County Rte 59 Dexter passed away at her home Saturday July 24th under the care of her family and Hospice of Jefferson County. Lynn was born February 4, 1955 in Watertown the daughter of Leon and Dolores Townsend Brown. She graduated from Sackets Harbor Central School in 1974. Lynn married Daniel Sanford on July 24, 1982 at St. Andrews Catholic Church of Sackets Harbor. She was a daycare provider at her home for several years. She was a member of TOPS in Dexter and enjoyed knitting. Surviving are her husband Daniel, a daughter Danielle Sanford and John Wetterhan of Dexter, three grandchildren: Abigail, Nathan and Isabelle Wetterhan. She has the following brothers and sisters: Eugene Brown of Watertown, Jeffrey Brown of Ohio, Mrs. Michael (Brenda) Hibbert of Parrish, Mrs. Lenny (Yvonne) Sullivan of Oregon, Mrs. Peter (Priscilla) Mahoney of Sackets Harbor and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be Tuesday July 27th at 11:00 a.m. at the Johnson Funeral Home, Dexter with Fr. Michael Gaffney of Immaculate Conception/ St. Andrews Churches officiating.
