Maralyn R. Crabtree, age 88 of E. Main St. Brownville passed away Saturday morning January 12, 2013 at her home under the care of her family and Hospice of Jefferson County. Maralyn was born July 6, 1924 in Watertown, the daughter of Floyd and Ruth Parminter Honeyman. She attended Watertown High School and married James F. Crabtree on September 9, 1943 in Burrville. The couple lived in Missouri for seven years and in 1951 moved to Glen Park and later Brownville. She was a Senior Secretary Clerk for the Watertown Housing Authority and retired in August of 1985. She was a Past Matron of the Order of Eastern Star, White Shrine Temple #6 Watertown , Busy Bee Gee"s of Brownville and Watertown American Legion Auxiliary Post 61. Arrangements are with Johnson Funeral Home, Dexter. Burial will be in Dexter Cemetery in the spring. There are no calling hours.
