Marguerite M. "Pete" Storey, 87, formerly of Calcium, passed April 10, 2016 at the Bayview Center Nursing Home in Eustis, FL where she had been a resident.

The funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Friday, May 6th at the Hart & Bruce Funeral Home with the Rev. Wayne Storey officiating.

A calling hour will precede the funeral service on Friday from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the funeral home.

Burial will follow in the Sanford Corners Cemetery.

Born on May 12, 1928 in Watertown, NY, daughter of the late Clarence & Anna Carpenter Hodge, she graduated from Watertown High School in 1946.

Following school she worked as a telephone operator for the NY Telephone Company.  She married Burton Storey, of Watertown, on June 4, 1947 at the Trinity Episcopal Chapel in Watertown. The couple resided in Watertown and moved to Calcium in the early 1950's and resided there until 1999.

Mrs. Storey was a homemaker.  Her husband worked for Niagara Mohawk for thirty years.  The couple spent winters in Arizona for eight years. Mr. Storey passed on February 22, 1993.   Mrs. Storey moved to Florida in 2007 where she resides with her son and daughter in law.

Among her survivors are a son and daughter in law, John M. & Candace S. Storey of Florida, two daughters and their husbands, Sharon A. & David M. Herron of Watertown, Cynthia M. & Richard G. "Rick" Warner of Watertown, a sister in law, Madeline Hodge of Clayton, 7 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.

A brother, Merton Hodge, a grandson, Timothy Dillenback and a step sister, Beverly Moran all died before her.

She enjoyed playing cards, crocheting, and puzzles.  She was a former member of the St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Watertown.
