Mary Julia Carson, 87, formerly of 100 Rogers Road, Black River, passed November 30, 2015 at the home of her nephew and his wife, William and Colleen Bartram. A graveside service will take place at the Sanford Corners Cemetery in the spring. Arrangements are with the Bruce Funeral Home, Black River. She was born on August 27, 1928 in West Virginia, daughter of Andrew and Mary (Ockowska) Pawlus.  She moved to Pulaski at an early age and graduated from the Pulaski High School. She married Stewart Noel Carson in 1950.  Mr. Carson worked 39 years for the NY Telephone Co., he passed October 28, 2002. Mrs. Carson was a homemaker.  She and her husband enjoyed wintering in Zephyrhills, FL for several years.   She enjoyed gardening and golfing and was a member of the Red Hat Society. Among her survivors are a daughter, Carolyn Stowe; two grandsons; Richard and Jason Stowe; several nieces and nephews. Donations may be made to the Watertown SPCA Water St., Watertown, NY 13601.
