Obituary

Mary P. Clough, 90 of Dexter passed away Saturday evening at Samaritan Medical Center where she had been admitted that day. Mary was born March 5, 1928 in the Town of Hounsfield the daughter of Michael and Susan Simon Loga.  She graduated from Dexter High School and married Rexford J. Clough on July 24, 1947 at 1 st Presbyterian Church in Dexter by the Rev. Fred Schimmer. Mary worked in the accounting department at Jefferson County Social Services and retired in 2003. She was a life-member of Smith-Savage Post 583 American Legion Auxiliary in Dexter. She is survived by her two children: Suzanne Clough of Dexter and Dale ( Carol) Clough of Belcamp, Maryland.  A grandson Chris ( Ashley) Kostyk of Plattsburg, and granddaughters Tiffany ( Bill) Sanderson of Oregon and LeAnn (Chris) Andiorio of Watertown along with great grandchildren Alice Ann Kostyk , Rexford Kostyk, Parker Andiorio, Mason Andiorio  and nieces and nephews also survive. She was predeceased by her husband Rexford on January 21, 2006 and her siblings: Paul Loga, Michael Loga, John Loga, Frank Loga, Yolanda Taboney, Helen Plummer, and Margaret Schweitzer. Funeral services will be Wednesday June 27 th at 12:00 Noon at the Johnson Funeral Home, Dexter.  Calling hours will be from 10:00 - 12:00 PM prior to the funeral.  Burial will be in Dexter Cemetery.  Donations may be made to St. Paul's Episcopal Church of Brownville or the Dexter Fire Dept.  Online condolences may be made to dexterfuneralhome.com.
