Mary Elizabeth Eves, 87 years old of Floral Drive, Watertown, formerly of Brownville passed away Saturday October 19, 2013 at Samaritan Medical Center, Watertown. She was born August 28th, 1926, daughter of Rodolphe and Antionette Derouin in Watertown. She graduated from I.H.A., Watertown. She married Robert A. Eves on July 26th 1947 at the Church of Our Lady Sacred Heart, Watertown. They resided many years in Brownville before moving to Floral Drive. Mr. Eves passed away December 7, 2000. She was a lifetime member of Allen-Giles American Legion Post 588 Auxiliary of Brownville. Over the years she had been involved with the PTA of the General Brown School District and the Alter Rosary Society of Immaculate Conception Church of Brownville. She is survived by her 8 children, James R. (Betty) Eves, Dexter, Anne M. (Richard) Cole, Tennessee, William J. Eves, Dexter, Kathy S. (Dale) Colligan, Dexter, Mary E. (James) Gerlach, florida, Joan T. (David) Dwyer, Dexter, Jane E. Eves ,Watertown, Joseph A Eves and fiance Laura Simpson, Watertown. A sister-in-law Ann Farinaccio of New Jersey also survives. She has 9 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her sister Theresa Derouin and daughter-in-law Mrs. William (Judith)Eves. A funeral will be held Thursday October 24th at 11:00 a.m. at the Johnson Funeral Home, Dexter. Burial will be in Brownville Cemetery. Calling hours will be Wednesday from 6:00 - 8:00 P.M.
