Obituary

Mary A. Kozlowski Parks, 95 of Dexter passed way Tuesday morning at Samaritan Keep Home, Watertown. Mary was born March 12, 1920 in Watertown the daughter of Anthony and Pelien Wdowychin Kozlowski. She graduated from Dexter High School and Mercy School of Nursing. Mary worked at Mercy Hospital where she was a registered nurse. She married Norman C. Parks on August 25, 1942 in Chaumont. The couple lived in Dexter and Mr. Parks passed away May 26, 1984. She was a member of Smith-Savage Post American Legion Auxiliary, Immaculate Conception Church. She is survived by a son Michael and Janet Parks of Dexter, two granddaughters: Paula and Karl Ahlheim of Chaumont, Andrea Favret of Dexter, a great granddaughter Natalie Favret, a sister Helen Garvin of Rutland Center and nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband and a son Patrick Parks in 1994, brothers John, Stanley, Edward, and Peter Kozlowski. Funeral services will be Friday August 14th at the Johnson Funeral Home, Dexter at 11:00 a.m. with Fr. Michael Gaffney of Immaculate Conception Church officiating. Burial will be in Dexter Cemetery.
