Obituary

Mary V. Piccoli, 87, formerly of Floral Drive, Watertown, passed March 13, 2016 at the Samaritan Keep Nursing Home where she had been a resident.

A prayer service will be held at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, March 19, at the Hart & Bruce Funeral Home, followed by an 11 a.m. Funeral Mass at Holy Family Church with Rev. Steven Murray Pastor officiating. Burial will follow in Glenwood Cemetery.

Calling hours will be held 7 to 9 p.m. Friday, March 18, at the funeral home.

Born on April 19, 1928 in Watertown, NY, daughter of Bernardino and Vincenza Felice Piccoli, she attended Watertown Schools.  She then attended nursing school and became an LPN working at the Bay Hospital in Alexandria Bay for several years.  She retired from Mercy Hospital where she worked in maternity and the Coronary Care Unit.

Among her survivors are her two sisters, Adeline Rockko and Margherita Larmon; several nieces and nephews, Mary Evans –Welpe and her husband Tim, Potsdam, Martin and Christy Sixt, Judy and Mike Telford, Eileen and Ray LaRouche, Fernando and Cindy Alvarado, Lou Alvarado, Rebecca Rockko, Felica Rockko; great nieces and nephews, Johanna and Jacklyn Evans-Welpe, Alicia and Ashley Alvarado, Julia and Matthew Telford and Richard and Jack LaRouche.

She is predeceased by two sisters, Ermelinda Evans, Lenora Sixt and a brother, Corrado Piccoli.
