Michael L. Granger, 58, of Watertown, New York, passed away unexpectedly on September 2, 2026, at Samaritan Medical Center.

Mike was born on December 6, 1967, in Watertown, New York, the son of John A. and Marilyn G. (John) Granger Sr.

Mike attended Watertown High School. From a young age he has worked for Ronnie Granger Paving, as well as other family-owned businesses. He enjoyed collecting remote-control trucks and cherished spending time with his beloved dog, Beany.

Among his survivors are his mother, Marilyn G. Davis; his companion, Tammy Monica of Watertown; his four children, Chelsy and Chad Hatchell of Watertown, Cory Granger of Watertown, Rylee Pitcher of Watertown, and Mykal McIntyre and her husband, Kyle; eight brothers and sisters, Debbie and Brian Matice, Debbie and William Gaudette, John Kadrmas and his companion, Shirley Luis, Kenneth and Michelle Kadrmas, Amy Wills, Shane Granger, and K.C. and Tracy Granger; and many grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his father, John A. Granger, Sr.; his brother, John A. Granger, Jr.; and his stepfather, David R. Davis.

Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, September 9, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Hart & Bruce Funeral Home, 117 N. Massey Street, Watertown. A graveside service will immediately follow at 2:00 p.m. at North Watertown Cemetery.
