Michael V. Parody, of Aynor, SC died on Tuesday November 2nd at Grand Strand Medical Center. He was 63. He was born January 4, 1953 in Watertown, NY. In 1973 he married Karon Fisher and together they had 2 children, Andrew and Rebecca, but Mike's role as a father did not end there. They took in their niece and nephew, Matt and Ginger Vaadi in 2004 as legal guardians. He was also playing the role of father for his two grand daughters, Mikenna and Shayla Hayes. Mike worked at Pepsi in Conway at the time of his retirement last year and dedicated his entire life to serving others. A unique soul, Mike was very funny, and enjoyed cooking for his family and friends. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Mike is survived by his four children: Rebecca, Ginger, Andrew with his wife Carelynn, Matt and his wife Katie, six grandchildren Amy-Elizabeth, Michael, Mikenna,Shayla, Colt and Elle, his wife Karon along with three of his four brothers, Oscar, Carl, and Bernard and his friends and extended family. A memorial service organized by the Johnson Funeral Home will be held in Dexter, NY at a date and time to be announced.
