Obituary

Milo "Mike" Pritty Sr., age 72 of County Rte 125 Chaumont passed away at his home Friday morning under the care of his family and Hospice. Mike was born June 3, 1939 the son of Wilbur and Lucille Lawrence Pritty. He attended Gouverneur Central School and served in the Navy from 1958 until 1962. He married Carolyn Burns in 1958 and she passed away March 1989 in Canandaigua, N.Y. He married Margo Murray on June 19, 1993 at Zephyrhills, Florida. Mike was employed at Gouverneur Talc Mines from 1958-1968 and then was a Process Control Engineer for Eastman Kodak from 1968 until 1991 when he retired. He was a member of Word of Life Church in Watertown and enjoyed camping and traveling. He is survived by his wife Margo , four sons and their spouses: Milo and Cathy Jr. of Gouverneur, Robert of Congress, AZ, Timothy and Heidi of St. Petersburg, FL, Wilbur and Kathy of Hilton, N.Y. Five Stepsons: Gregory and Debra Bogart of Chaumont, Jeffrey and Kelly Bogart of Redwood, Michael and Susanne Bogart of Alexandria Bay, N.Y. , Shannon and Shawna Bogart of North Carolina and Trevor Bogart of Alexandria Bay, N.Y. He has six grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren. Sisters Margaret and Conrad Felix of Zephyrhills, Fl and Donna Pratt of Dexter, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by sisters Dorothy Perkins, Mary Given and Mildred Pritty and a brother James Pritty. A memorial service will be held Saturday November 12th at Grace Community Church of Theresa at 11:00 a.m. Burial will be in Hailsboro at a later date. There are no calling hours. Donations may be made to American Heart Assoc. or Parkinson's Disease Assoc. Arrangements are with Johnson Funeral Home, Dexter.
