Monty E. Scee, 83 of Jericho Road, Watertown passed away at his sisters' home Saturday morning on the Evans Road, Dexter. Monty was born February 5, 1933 in the Town of Hounsfield the son of William and Frances Cousins Scee. He attended school in Dexter and went to work at Knowlton Paper Co. in Watertown. He served in the US Army from 1953 until the end of 1954 during the Korean Conflict. Monty returned to Knowltons' following his service time and was a paper-maker. He married Sally Woodard Quesenberry in 1980. She passed away May 2000. Monty is survived by six step-children: Andrew Quesenberry of LaFargeville, Shelly Dewees of Watertown, Bill Quesenberry of Ft. Walton Beach, Florida, Donna Lawler of Watertown, Roy Quesenberry of Clayton, Rowena Quesenberry of Watertown. He has two sisters Carol Lennox of Watertown and Helen Kizzer of Dexter, a brother Douglas Scee of Theresa, 14 step grandchildren and 14 step great grandchildren, nieces and nephews surviving. He was predeceased by step-daughter Kimberly Branche, brothers William Scee and Donald Scee. A memorial service will be held Thursday June 24th at 7:00 PM at the Johnson Funeral Home, Dexter.
