Obituary

Nancy S. Fey, 81, of Venice, FL, formerly of Watertown, NY, passed away peacefully on September 16, 2026, at Mercy Hospital in Buffalo, New York.

Nancy was born on April 29, 1945, in Watertown, NY, the daughter of Arthur and Velma Thompson Jones. She graduated from Bethlehem High School.

Following high school, Nancy had careers in many different fields. Early in life she owned and operated a small luncheonette in Utica, NY. She also worked for Verizon and for the State of New York in many different job titles. She eventually earned retirement pensions from both employers. In retirement, she established her own business in Watertown, providing escort services for oversized trucks and trailers.

Nancy resided in Venice, FL, for the past eight years. She was previously married to Frank Santoro, who predeceased her, and Howard Fey of west Leyden, NY.

Nancy enjoyed reading and traveling, but most of all, she cherished the time she spent with her family.

Among her survivors are her son and daughter-in-law, Brian P. and Amy Santoro of Latham, New York; her daughter, Gabrielle M. Gulledge of Watertown; four grandchildren, Dimetri Santoro, Scout Santoro, DeShawn Fey, and Maya Anne Fey, and Davionna Gulledge; three great-grandchildren, Zayvion Fey, Sophia-Elizabeth Fey, and Kayce Fey; nieces and nephews; and two sisters and their husbands, Barbara and Sylvain Martin of Venice, Florida, and Marilyn and Norman Fancher of Glenmont, NY.

Nancy’s wishes were to be cremated, and calling hours will be held on Saturday, October 3rd from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Hart & Bruce Funeral Home 117 N. Massey St., Watertown. A celebration of life will follow at 1 p.m. at the funeral home. The family would like friends and family to share their memories and special stories about Nancy during this time.
