Ninetta C. Tucker, age 87 of E. Bradley St. Dexter passed away Monday evening at the home of her daughter in Greeley, Colorado. Ninetta was born August 29, 1925 in the Town of Rutland to Roswell and Ida Villenede Belcher. She was also raised by her step-father Wes Harris. She graduated from Dexter High School and married William Tucker on April 28, 1946 in Watertown. The couple lived in Dexter and Ninetta worked at Empsall's Dept. Store in Watertown and also did babysitting in her home for several years. William passed away in 1996. She is survived by the following children: Craig and Anita Tucker of Dexter, Corrine Tucker of Greeley, Colorado, Stephen and Linda Tucker of Dexter, Sherman and Sheila Tucker of Dexter, Blair Tucker of Hamilton, Virginia. She has several grandchildren and great grandchildren, nieces and nephews and a sister Ida Dillenbeck of Troy, N.Y. also surviving. Funeral services will be Monday at 11:00 a.m. at the Johnson Funeral Home, Dexter with the Rev. Timothy Cramer officiating. Burial will be in Dexter Cemetery. Calling hours will be Sunday from 2-4 P.M. Donations may be made to American Heart Association.
