Pauline Elizabeth Coulter Gould went to be with her Lord and Savior Saturday evening at Samaritan Medical Center, Watertown,N.Y. Pauline was born in Newark, OH on July 7, 1924 the only child of John and Emma Merritt Coulter. She moved to Rocky Mount, NC as a child and attended Rocky Mount Schools graduating in 1942. She married Herbert M. Gould on her birthday July 7, 1944 in Bridgeport, CT. Their marriage lasted 41 years until Herbert died on March 31, 1986.br> She is survived by four children: Herbert M. Jr. and his fiancee Ann of Rome, N.Y., Gwendolyn Lee LaMarche and her husband Robert of Dexter, N.Y., James M. Gould of Dexter, and Paula Lynn Renkin and her husband Richard of San Diego, Calif. She has three grandchildren; Robert LaMarche II, Allyson Pottorff, and Robert Renkin and four great grandchildren; Katelyn LaMarche, Ashley LaMarche, Taylor Pottorff and Victor Pottoroff. She has relatives in North Carolina, Ohio and Connecticut, plus her brother-in-law Raymond Gould and sister-in-laws Mae Gould, Corajean Smith and Marilyn Earl.br> She was a member of the Dexter United Methodist Church and served in many capacities and organizations within the church, Brownville Chapter Order of Eastern Stars and Dexter Senior Citizens.br> Pauline had a zest for life enjoying many activities which include card playing, bingo, time spent at camp, quiet times overlooking the Perch River, playing golf, reading her bible and time spent with her grand and great grandchildren. A memorial service will be held Thursday 1:00 P.M. at the Johnson Funeral Home, Dexter with Rev. Patricia Walz officiating. Burial will be in Dexter Cemetery. Calling hours will be Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 P.M.
