Obituary

Richard " Dick"G. Cain, 69 of 682 Main St., Glen Park, NY, died Monday at the home of his daughter in Mint Hill, North Carolina. Richard was born August 15, 1937 in Watertown, the son of Gerald D. and Marion G. Parmeter Cain. He graduated from General Brown High School in 1955. He served in the United States Marines in 1957. He owned and operated Cain's Gas Station in Glen Park from 1950-1970's and Coty's Bar and Grill in the 1970's. He retired in 1995 from Niagara Mohawk. He was a member of the local softball team in the 1960's and enjoyed antiquing and hunting. He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law Bridget and Jim Fabian and a grandson Dylan Fabian of Mint Hill, North Carolina and his fiancee Anita Ludwin and cousins Marilyn and Bruce Crabtree. A memorial service will be held Saturday 1:00 pm at the Johnson Funeral Home, Dexter. Burial will be in Dexter Cemetery. Calling hours will be from 7-9 P.M. on Friday.
