Richard L. Ryan, 47, of 120 Casey St., Watertown, passed August 18, 2017 at the Samaritan Medical Center.

He was born on November 21, 1969, in Watertown, son of Michael F. and Jean C. (Beach) Ryan Sr. He attended Watertown High School.

He then worked at JRC as a residential aid for several years and alongside his brother-in-law, George DeMar, working construction. However most of his life he worked beside his father who taught him small engine repairs from a young age.

Among his survivors are his mother, Jean C. Ryan, Watertown, his companion, Rebecca M. Jimenez, Watertown, three sons and their companions, Scott Z. Jimenez and Alexis Daughen, Watertown, Ricky L. Ryan and Haley Britton, FL, Mikey P. Ryan and Erica, Watertown, two daughters and their husbands, Tiffany A. and Kyle Schaefer, CO, Stephanie M. and Daniel Percy, Felts Mills, six granddaughters, Kaedan, Bethanie, Ali,Olivia, Amelia and Gracelyn. Two brothers and their wives, Michael F. and Judy Ryan Jr., Watertown, Patrick J. and Trudy Ryan, Watertown, a sister and brother-in-law, Kathy A. and George E. DeMar, Watertown, several nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his father, Michael F. Ryan Sr. and a brother, Steven Ryan.

Arrangements are with the Hart & Bruce Funeral Home. Calling hours will be held 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday August 22nd at aNew Way Assembly of God at 116 Haley St., Watertown. The funeral service will follow at 1 p.m. at the church with Rev. Shane Ryan officiating. Burial will take place in the N. Watertown Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
