Obituary

Robert A. Walker, age 64 of W. Main St. Watertown; passed away at his home Saturday afternoon following a sudden illness. Robert was born October 1, 1948 in Watertown, the son of Fred and Laura Salter Walker. He graduated from Lyme Central School and in March of 1968 entered the Army and was discharged in 1971 as a Spc4. He worked several years at James River Paper Co. Until becoming disabled. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, family and friends. He was always willing to lend a helping hand. He is survived by a daughter Mrs. Michael (Heather) Mitchell of Chaumont, his parents Fred and Laura Walker of Dexter, brothers: Gary Walker of Florida and Richard Walker, sister: Mrs. Paul (Nancy) Patchen of Depauville, and his companion Katrina Drelick of Carthage and Ronald and Lori Walker of Three Mile Bay. He has grandchildren Jessie, Paige and Karlee Mitchell, and great granddaughter Sadie Allyn, nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held Friday evening 7:00 P.M. at the Johnson Funeral Home, Dexter with Pastor Earl Reff of Fellowship Baptist Church officiating. Burial will be in the spring at Dexter Cemetery. There are no calling hours.
