Robert F. Feeney, 63, of 142 Mechanic St., Watertown, passed April 12, 2016 at the Samaritan Medical Center

A Memorial Service will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 19th at the Hart & Bruce Funeral Home, Watertown.

Burial with military honors will take place at the Massachussetts National Cemetery in Bourne, MA at a later date.

He was born on June 21, 1952 in Brockton, MA, son of John and Eleanor (Goodwin) Feeney.  He graduated from high school in Brockton, MA and then served in the US Army and Army National Reserves.

Upon his discharge he returned home to MA where he worked with his brother, John, installing cable for many years.   He then worked as a contractor doing construction for several years.

In 2008 he moved to Watertown to be closer to his family and he worked at Fort Drum for two years, before retirng due disability.

He loved watching and playing baseball, coaching his kids, running, fishing and spending time with his grandchildren.  He was an avid Red Sox and Patriots fan.

Among his survivors are his two daughters and son in law, Megan E. Allen, Watertown, Melinda I. and Luke S. Hodkinson, Watertown; two sons, Dareck T. Hobart and Robert J. Feeney both of MA; a brother, Phillip Feeney, MA, a sister Joan Banks, MA; several grandndchildren, nieces and nephews.

He is predeceased by a daughter Deborah who died at birth and a brother John Feeney.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
