Rosemary A. Luffman, age 94 of Star Schoolhouse Rd. Dexter, passed away at Country Manor Nursing Home, Carthage on Wednesday morning. She had been a resident there since April of 2008. Rosemary was born December 25, 1919 in Watertown, the daughter of Carlton and Eva Stles Morris. She attended school in Watertown. She later married Cecil Luffman and the couple owned and operated a dairy farm on the Star Schoolhouse Rd. She is survived by four brothers; Harold Morris of Henderson, William Morris of Carthage, James Morris of Massena, Douglas Morris of Rome, N.Y. She also has several nieces and nephews and her close friends Jim and Linda Gracey of Dexter. She was predeceased by her husband Cecil, and three brothers Donald, Carlton Jr. and Arthur Morris. Funeral services will be Saturday March 15th at 1:00 P.M. at the Johnson Funeral Home, Dexter with Fr. Michael Gaffney of Immaculate Conception Church officiating. Burial will be in Glenwood Cemetery. Calling hours will be from 12:00 -1:00 P.M. prior to the funeral.
