Russel D. Graves, 63, of 336 West Main St., Watertown, passed October 22, 2014 at the Samaritan Medical Center.

A graveside service will be 1 p.m. Monday, October 27 at the N. Watertown Cemetery. Arrangements are with the Hart & Bruce Funeral Home.

Born on October 9, 1951 in Rochester, NY, son of the late Clifton and Rosanna Hence Graves, he attended Watertown High School.

He married Elizabeth Collins on May 27, 1970 in Watertown.

Mr. Graves worked at Don's Doughnuts in Watertown as a baker.  He and his wife moved to California in 1976 where he owned and operated RGE Insulation Co.  The couple returned to Watertown in 1986 and moved to Massena where he worked as a car salesman at John R. Boyce & Son and Massena Chrysler, Plymouth and Dodge, retiring in 2003.

He enjoyed boxing,was an avid fan of Muhammad Ali, fishing with his grandson and spending time with family.

Among his survivors are his wife, Elizabeth Graves, Watertown; three daughters, Kelly Granger, DeFeriet, Kristy Graves, Watertown, Jennifer Roberts, Massena; 8 grandchildren, Erin Graves, Brandon Graves, Dustin Graves, Zian Collins, Mykal Granger, Cheyanne Graves, Siaunna Garcia, Journie Graves; a sister Pam Craig.

A daughter, Rebecca Colburn and a grandson Zavier Colburn and two brothers, Arthur and Peter Graves all passed before her.Online condolences may be made at hartandbrucefh.com
