Type Obit Here Sally A. Hoffman, 85, Sackets Harbor, died Saturday, September 27, 2014 at Samaritan Keep Home; where she has resided since April, 2011. Born June 29th, 1929, the daughter of Leon and Nellie Nellis, she graduated from Watertown High School and was employed by the Agricultural Insurance Company. Sally A. Nellis was married to John D. Lloyd on August 27, 1950. While her children were young, she was a homemaker, working a short time at the Hounsfield Central (Sackets Harbor) School's cafeteria. Later, she worked at Weston's Discount Department Store in Watertown. Mr. Lloyd passed away in January of 1978. She was married on January 12, 1980 to Howard Hoffman. Mr. Hoffman died on October 7, 1995. Sally was a communicant of St. Andrew's Catholic Church in Sackets Harbor, a member of the Sackets Harbor Volunteer Fire Dept. Auxiliary, loved music, enjoyed spending time with her family and was an avid reader. She is survived by three daughter: Susan (Bernard) Buza, Camillus, Sandra (David) Leuze, Sackets Harbor, Sheree Kellar, Woodville, two step-daughters: Susan (Gary) Godden, Henrietta, Joyanne Rinn, Henrietta, a brother David J. Nellis, Sackets Harbor, eight grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Brothers Leon "Lee" Nellis of Middletown, CT. and Ralph "Bud" Nellis of Sackets Harbor predeceased her. Funeral services will be Wednesday October 1st at 11:00 a.m. at the Johnson Funeral Home with Fr. Michael Gaffney of St. Andrews Caholic Church officiating. Burial will be in Lakeside Cemetery.
