Shirley M. Sullivan ,age 83 of Pamelia passed away Thursday morning at Samaritan Medical Center. Shirley was born May 5, 1928 in Watertown the daughter of Albert and Mildred Ball Porter. She graduated from Evans Mills High School and married Joseph C. Henderson on September 1, 1945 in Philadelphia. That marriage ended in divorce and she later married Frederick J. Sullivan January 10, 1964 in Adams. He died October 2, 1973. Shirley was a homemaker and worked as a waitress at Willowbrook and Watertown Golf Clubs and Ramada Inn where she retired in 1993. She was a former member of Evans Mills United Methodist Church, Rebekahs and Eastern Stars. Shirley is survived by five children; Diane and Gerald Quencer of Sackets Harbor, Lynda and Thomas Vaadi of Lafargeville, John and Debra Henderson of Watertown, Mildred "Millie" and Steve Marks of Brownville and Joseph Henderson of Cape Cod, Mass. She also has 12 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by sisters Betty Murdock, Joan Pratt and Beverly Hoover. A graveside service will be held at the convenience of the family in Evans Mills Cemetery. There are no calling hours.
