Stephen A. Sprague, age 54 of Military Road, Dexter died Friday morning at Samaritan Medical Center ER. Stephen was born March 31, 1956 in Watertown the son of Leroy C. and Nancy Bush Sprague Sr. He graduated from General Brown High School , Jefferson Community College and Utica-Rome College of Accounting. Stephen worked for Gilberts in Arizona and later for N.Y. Air Brake as a machinist. He is survived by a daughter Nicome' Peck of Dexter, sons Kristopher Sprague of Syracuse and Stephen Jr. of Dexter. His mother Nancy Sprague of Dexter, brothers Leroy Sprague Jr. of Dexter and Randall L. Sprague of Champion and his companion Melody Shanahan of Dexter also survive. He was predeceased by his father Leroy Sr. in 1999, brothers Roger Sprague in 1955 and Mark Sprague in 1992. A funeral service will be held Monday 11:00 a.m. at St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Brownville . There are no calling hours. Donations may be made to American Cancer Society.
