Steven J. Sagriff, 62 of Watertown passed away Thursday morning at Hospice of Ellis Farm with his wife by his side. Steven was born April 10, 1953 in Watertown, the son of James and Geraldine Hunt Sagriff. He graduated from Watertown High School. Steven married Sharon M. Mitchell on April 22, 1978 at Immaculate Conception Church of Brownville. The couple lived in Watertown where he worked at Gould Motor Manufacturing and moved to Potsdam until 1994 working for Buyea Fassett as District Manager and in 2004 moved to Tallahassee, Florida where he worked for Frito Lay Co. Steve was a former member of Sons of American Legion Post 583; he enjoyed hunting, fishing, four-wheeling, snowmobiling and camping. He is survived by his wife Sharon of Watertown; a son and his wife: Dereck and Amanda Sagriff of Potsdam; granddaughters Mackenzie and Savannah. Funeral services will be Monday January 11th at the Johnson Funeral Home, Dexter at 11:00 a.m. Calling hours will be Sunday from 1-4 P.M. Burial will be in Dexter Cemetery at a later date.
