Susan I. Ward went to be with her husband and her Lord Jesus Christ on October 10 2016. Born in Chicago IL on May 5, 1939 to Howard & Ruth Moore. Her family moved to Southern California in 1948 where she met her future husband (Charles) Donald Ward. They were married June 1, 1956. They later moved to Susanville, Ca & eventually to Alexandria Bay, NY. Don preceded her in death on June 25th 2004. In April 2013 she moved to Lakeland, FL. Surviving are her children Robert (Gay) Dexter NY, Debbi Stevens Richland WA, & Brenda (Bob) Chester CA; eight grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren; sister Cantlon (Ron) Vreeken, brother William Moore. A brother H. James Moore preceded her in death. A memorial service will be held on Oct 13, 2016 at 2pm at the "Chapel" on the Victory Church campus, 1401 Griffin Rd, Lakeland, FL 33810. Donations in Lieu of flowers may be made to Victory Church Kids Club where she volunteered, 1401 Griffin Rd, Lakeland, FL 33810. A graveside service will be private in Highland Cemetery, Alexandria Bay, NY at the convenience of the family. Local arrangements are with Johnson Funeral Home, Dexter.
