Thomas J. Berkey Jr., age 52 of Mill St. Watertown; passed away at his home Wednesday morning with family by his side. Thomas was born May 18, 1963 on the Nava Base at Pensacola, Florida, the son of Thomas Berkey Sr. and Rose Caputo. He attended school in Sackets Harbor. He is survived by his mother Rose Chiodi of Sackets Harbor, two sons; Thomas Berkey and Robert Berkey of Sackets Harbor, 2 step-sons Damion Miles and John Miles of Watertown, a sister Tina and Jeffrey Wisner of Sackets Harbor, two brothers : Michael and Michelle Chiodi of Belleville, William (BJ) and Dioney Chiodi of Sackets Harbor, and his grandmother Betty Caputo of Sackets Harbor. He also has aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins surviving and his former companion Carmilla Gomez. He was predeceased by his father Thomas Berkey and his step-father James Chiodi. A graveside service will be held April 16, 2016 at Lakeside Cemetery, Sackets Harbor at 11:00 a.m. with Fr. Douglas Comstock officiating. There are no calling hours.
