Thomas J. Crance, 43 of Lacona, NY passed away Thursday evening in a motor vehicle accident on NYS Rte 81 in the Town of Watertown. Thomas was born January 24, 1973 in McKean County, Pennsylvania the son of Thomas A. and Mary Abbott Crance. He graduated from high school and took several courses in college. He was divorced. He worked in construction as a carpenter for Mahoney & Associates of Canastota, NY. He also owned Amazing Sounds Disc Jockey Services, was a Fishing Guide specializing in Salmon Fishing. He received an award from the Three Mile Bay Fire Dept. recently for volunteering his DJ services. He is survived by his parents Thomas and Linda Crance of Dexter, his fiancée' Aroetia "River" Brockenbrough of Lacona, two children Victoria and Aaron Crance of Boiling Springs, N.C., stepsisters: Tonyia Marshall of Charlottesville, VA, Debra Farris of Shelby, NC, Shari Pitcock of Zanesville, Ohio and several aunts and uncles. He was predeceased by his mother Mary Abbott Crance. A gathering of friends and family will be held at his parents' home 1235 Lodi Road, Dexter at a date and time to be announced.
