Thomas F. Riley, 69, of 30658 St. Rt. 3 Felts Mills, passed May 15, 2015 at the Samaritan Medical Center.
The funeral service will be Noon May 18th at the Bruce Funeral Home, 131 Maple St., Black River. Burial will follow in the Felts Mills cemetery.
A calling hour will precede the service Monday 11 a.m. to Noon at the funeral home.
Born on September 9, 1945 in Watertown, NY, the son of the late Woodrow and Ethel Hamblin Riley, he attended Watertown High School.
Following school he entered the US Navy on September 26, 1963 and was honorably discharged on November 7, 1963.
He then drove school bus for Freeman Bus Corp. for thirteen years and later was the manager at Zahn's Auto Metal Recyclers in Felts Mills up until he became disabled in the early 90's.
He married Rosemary G. Barr on June 4, 1988 in the Town of Rutland, NY.
He was a member and Past Commander of the Black River American Legion Post 673.
Among his survivors are his loving wife of 26 years, Rosemary G. Riley, Felts Mills; two daughters and their husbands, Cathie L. and Allen L. Reustle, CO, Angel M. and David E. Ashley Jr., Felts Mills; a son, Thomas R. Riley; two stepsons and their wives, Shane M. and Leeanne M. Barr and Timothy A. and Misty L. Barr, all of Felts Mills; three brothers and two sisters in law, Woodrow and Barbara Riley, NC, James Riley, Watertown, John and Mary Riley, Carthage; four sisters and their husbands, Marsha and Charles Lineback, Iowa, Sally and James Patterson, Tylerville, Margaret and Darryl Storey, Watertown, Tina and Phillip Morrison, Watertown;19 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
A grandson, Thomas W. Riley and two sisters, Dorothy Ferguson and Kathy Boak all passed before him.
